England friendlies are covered by SKY, home and away. Some 10 years ago England six nations matches were broadcast on SKY but it was a disaster for the tournament. Matches got low ratings and the other countries like Wales got really annoyed because fans couldn’t watch their games against England on terrestrial TV. Since then Ofcom have ruled that all 6 Nations matches must be shown on terrestrial TV, which is why all 6 Nations games in the UK are shown on BBC.
