Funnily enough, it was me. It probably explains the ol’ blood pressure problems I’ve had recently. Besides, He got squashed by the elephant because someone shot it with a poison dart. Oh boy was it a scenario. We had Hercule Poirot round and we all were gathered round in the office (a very tight squeeze) and he explained how the murder went through. Apparently the elephant once belonged to a rich merchant and was sold to a king in Eygpt were it became a National Icon, and then ran away and performed plastic surgery on it’s own ears and flew to Belgium like Dumbo. Then it got trapped by the circus and the Egyption king has been hunting it ever since. We all found from Poirot and Chief Inspector Japp that the king was disguised as a random old age pensioner. Oh, yes, Agatha Christie got a visit from Doctor Who the other day. A big old giant wasp was chasing around the scene. That woman from Rosemary and Thyme was there, too.
