The first meeting was held in 1985 when a small group of people interested in the history of their families, banded together to form a genealogical group. Today we have 243 members and occupy premises in Kentucky Street, Armidale, between Dangar and Faulkner Streets. We open for research at our Kentucky Street Research Centre located between Dangar and Faulkner Streets Armidale, from 1 February until mid-December and excepting for public holidays: Every Monday 2 pm to 5 pm and every Wednesday 10 am to 4 pm. General Meetings. These meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month: February – May and September – November, commencing at 7.30 p.m. Winter meetings, June – August are held on the second Saturday of these months commencing at 2 p.m. Interested members of the public are invited to attend our general meetings.
