Where are the Best Cheap Eats in Norfolk, Nebraska?
I absolutely love Dog and Burger for a quick lunch. My favortie dish is the juicy 1/2 pound all pork Hebrew National hotdog with chili. All the people that work there are friendly and the service is quick. The decor is realistic and it is remeniscent of NYC. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to kids of any age. It will be a smile on your face.
I recently went to Hampton the visit my Grandma while she and my Step Mom were visiting one of my Grandma’s friends. Apparently my Grandma lived in Hampton when my Dad was a baby and she worked (of all the places) at Smitty’s. That was about 40+ years ago! Well she insisted that I try this place. Wow! My boyfriend is taking a trip downt here this weekend and I’m making him bring me back a burger or two! =) If you’re in the area you gotta try it…it’ll be worth every cent!
I no longer live in the Va Beach area, and truly miss Plaza as a lunchtime and dinnertime favorite. The value per price ratio is a steal. Nothing fancy but good. I now live in SC and we have a large number of Mexican restaurants here, but NO ONE is doing a white sauce like Plaza, nor are their chile relleno’s anything like what Plaza does. Look forward to “going home” to visit…Plaza will be on my list, if only for the white sauce and chile relleno….Pros + Good Food, Great ValueCons – Slow seating at times, Service slow at times
