Where are the Best Signature Drinks in Seattle, Washington?
Apparently this place has been there for years, but somehow remains hidden in plain sight. I love that it is part of the seattle underground and so close to parking underneath the viaduct. There is something great about being able to go down beneath the street to a darkened room that sells martinis, gives off kind of a speakeasy feel. I love all the fishtanks too. But mostly I love that you can look up from the bar and see outside onto the street. Live music can be loud and make talking difficult, but happy hour food and prices make this easily overlookable. I am in love with the tapenade, perhaps the best I have ever had. Something I can’t quite place puts it a step above the rest. I also enjoy the spicy rigatoni with capers. LIttle couched off areas give a better feeling of intimacy than other similar establishments. Only 4 beers on tap, but I guess that’s because its a martini bar and best of all Saturday happy hour from 6-9. I plan to hit this place up often in the future. Pros +
What a fun place! The food, although sometimes weird sounding, was ALL delicious. My entire group thought it was excellent. Only complaint is that they served the food seperately… some people got their food before others… even when everything was ordered at the exact same time and the place wasn’t swamped so there was no excuse for it.Pros + Great food.Cons – Service.
This is a great little, new hotspot in Belltown, right next door to Bada Lounge. It is a good place for drinks and people watching, though it is teeny. The food is not an afterthought as it is at most Belltown watering holes. A recent Alaskan King Salmon dinner was HUGE and cooked to perfection, moist and flavorful, with Heirloom tomatoes. About half the price as a place like Waterfront Seafood Grill and about twice the portion size. Other dishes that were notable was the chicken with crispy skin and pan seared scallops. A great addition to the Belltown dining scene.Pros + Great Food, people watchingCons – no parking, teeny
I usually drop by once a month, usually to order a particular drink. Kevin, the bartender, has always made an effort to remember my name, make conversation, and ensure I actually like the drink. The attention is appreciated, and is more than you can find at most places in Seattle.Service can be slow at times, and food is decent but nothing great, but I don’t really understand who someone would want to go to a drink lounge for food anyway.Pros + Good drinks, nice bartendersCons – Older crowd, not always the most fun
