Where are war brides?
The war on terror is probably the first war that we have engaged in where there are not numerous “war brides.” I have not read about any GI’s bringing back Iraqi women after their tour of duty. In previous wars, this issue was big news. Is it that it doesn’t happen now because the cultures are too different, or does it happen and just is not reported?
