You may have a problem as they are a strain used in North America, in the UK potato’s like apple are much the same as here in Canada, but it is the names, like Pippins for apples and Mayfair for potato’s, the yellow Mayfair’s, Sante, King Edwards are closest to the YKG, the early season new white ones to, YKG have a waxy and a floury texture, good for mashed and not bad for chips, my UK chef mate use a variety, when I am there and have mucked in they use different ones for various recipes, some are better than other for certain things.
