A 6: The City of Lubbock landfills will not accept these items unless the freon has been removed by a certified recycling agent and the item has been tagged. You may call any small appliance repair center and it is possible that some may pay you for the used appliances. (ONLY single-family dwellings can take these items to the Citizen Collection Stations.
