Hi Ladies, I know this isn’t a baby topic, but I need to help my elderly father out. My mom passed away almost 2 years ago, & I am helping my father sort through all of her clothing and other items. This is a difficult process for my father, & he is often talking about giving away, selling, donating, etc. her things. My mother was in her 70’s and the clothing ranges from size L-2x, 14-22. There’s everything from winter coats to dresses, to casual wear to nightgowns. Some of the clothing is brand new. Most of it is from places like Kohl’s, Target, Dress Barn, Carson’s etc. It’s definitely the style of clothing an older woman would wear. I know it would mean a lot -and be easier for my dad to let go of these items-if he knew they were needed by someone & would be put to good use. I believe he is very hesitant to just put them in a box for Goodwill. I think he’d prefer that someone in need receive them for free rather than purchase them from a thrift store.
