The World War II List of Dead and Missing Personnel is a comprehensive listing of over 300,000 Army and Air Force Personnel containing battle and non-battle dead and missing from 27 May 1941-31 January 1946. The National Archives maintains this listing. The list arrangement is by state and county within the state.
