When we want to confirm an approach or refresh our memories we typically refer to two books: 1. The Destruction of Organic Matter, T. T. Gorsuch, Pergamon Press, Oxford (1970) 2. A Handbook of Decomposition Methods in Analytical Chemistry, Rudolf Boch (translated by Iain L. Marr), Halsted Press (a division of John Wiley and Sons), New York (1979) Amazon.com lists the Gorsuch as out of stock, but several used copies are available. Unfortunately, the Boch is out of print and has limited availability.
