Where can I get test data on zinc chromate primer applied to steel?
A. There is a wide range of zinc chromate primers for use on steel. Some are alkyds, epoxies, acrylics, and modifications of these resins. Paint vendors should be able to give you test data on their own primers, but if you want independent data you might need to test the specific primers in which you are interested. If you would like to pursue this further I might be able to help you on a consulting basis.
