Where can I get the updated master server list, and map names list?
GameSpy 2.0 now has a built-in update function. Simply select Tools, then GameSpy Updates. Then select either Map information update, or Update master server list. • How do I get GameSpy to show the full names of the maps? Go into: Tools/Options, then Refreshes. Put a check on “Perform full name map lookups”. • Why is the “Add Server” button on the toolbar always greyed out? It’s not needed when you currently have a QW master selected. The Master Server automatically takes care of new servers going online, and removing dead servers that go offline. The “add servers” button is used if you’re on a non-QuakeWorld server list or you’re looking at your “Unbound QW” server list, which is meant for QW servers that aren’t “attached” to a master server (i.e. private servers). • I am an AOL user.
