Where can we buy fresh fish and shrimp?
There are several places in which you can buy fresh fish and seafood food. The main location is in an area called the Malecon or “the fish market”, while the other areas in in local fish markets. The Malecon is located at the end of Benito Juarez, just around the harbour. There are approximately 8 – 10 little stalls in which individual sell fish & shrimp. They all get their product from the same wholesale venders, thus they price is pretty much the same at each place. We have a favorite vender in which we buy all of our fish from, thus he cleans our shrimp for us. The other location of buy seafood is from stores in town that sell a larger variety of fisf An example of one of these stores is called El Chichi Fish Market.
