Where can we experience the healing rays of love, the healing power of God?
In the Sacramental life of the Church, each and every Sacrament brings healing to our souls in its own unique and individual way, for it is Gods will to surround us with sacramental life and grace, and the Sacraments span our whole life and existence from birth to death. Through the Sacraments, Jesus Christ is saving us. The most frequent Sacraments being that of Holy Confession and the Eucharist (Holy Communion). What healing comes to us through the beautiful Sacrament of penance! We are washed clean of all that would separate us from God, and what tremendous healing comes to us through the reception of the Most Holy Eucharist! Healing services, and prayer groups all have a very valid and beautiful place in the order of things, but we should never underestimate the healing power of the Sacraments, because in them Jesus Christ himself touches us!
