I believe before Britain, there were natives, I’m not sure but the aboriginees come to mind, but I could be mistaken. Britain used Australia as a prison colony. They used it to send their criminals that they didn’t want escaping. Anyhow, it was a colony, and colonies grow, so eventually they got large enough that they decided they didn’t need Britain anymore. I’m not sure if they rebelled or they were just forgotten by Britain, but either way, they eventually were independant of Britain.
