Where did the fertility goddess of Hinduism originate from?
As a Neopagan, who tries to reconstruct at some level a more primordial human religion, I would say from my perspective, the fertility goddess of Hinduism comes from the human psyche, i.e. is the same as Natura, or our viewing of Nature around us (from the oldest worhsippers of Innana in Sumer to modern Gaia Theorists in the scientific community) as a living, motherly entity. So, the Hindu fertility Goddess is one of many names we give to a universal Truth.
