Interpreters might be found working wherever there are d/Deaf people and hearing people who wish to communicate. Interpreters practice in a variety of settings, including: Community; Legal; Medical; Mental Health; Tactile (consumer is deaf and blind); Theatrical; Platform (during a presentation, lecture, workshop; often on a stage); Educational; Religious; and VRS / VRI (video relay service / video remote interpreting).
