Manager Certification Training: • MDA approves manager certification training materials. To obtain a list of these approved programs, please point your browser over to the Manager Certification Training pages. • The Food Law of 2000 incorporates the FDA 1999 Food Code. One requirement of the code states the person in charge of a food service facility must demonstrate knowledge of the code. (2-102.11) These classes should prepare you to take the exams necessary to meet this code requirement. Food Service Worker Training: • Some Local Health Departments require specific training for issuance of food licenses or operational approval.
