First, Witches fly on brooms no more than any other person (so, in other words, they obviously don’t). I know this is still a popular belief among people and it constantly fills pages of stories and hours of movies. And, sadly enough, we all grew up with “The Wizard of Oz” and stories such as “Hansel and Gretzel” at our bedsides. I admit it…when I was five, I really did think Witches flew all over on those things, but there is a time (such as when you grow up) where beliefs like that just become really stupid. That belief is still there thanks to too many people who just never “grew up” and “matured” in their heads. The original reason for this story was that much too long ago, many Witches used plants, herbs, seeds and so on (which were in most cases extremely poisonous) to make ointments which they would smear on their bodies to induce “astral flight”.
