Where does the expanded or maximized cement go in the mass?

If you see the structure of concrete or a cement & sand block or if you test the porosity of cement as per IS approved method, then you will find that, porosity level are as high as 35% in a concrete mass. This porosity only absorbs and retains moisture to give rise to problem of water seepage in due course of time. If you add Silmix it will penetrate deep inside the surface and it will neutralize its capillaries that will not allow water to rise.

(Ans) If you see the structure of concrete or a cement & sand block or if you test the porosity of cement as per IS approved method, then you will find that, porosity level are as high as 35% in a concrete mass. This porosity only absorbs and retains moisture to give rise to problem of water seepage in due course of time. If you add C-Max then the cement surface area increases & penetrates in to all these pores and reduce the porosity, to a level of 3%.
