On the one hand, we did not feel totally comfortable using the name of God to promote our currency; but on the other hand, we did not want the omission of God on the MR$ note to imply support for an atheistic point of view. Hence, we tried to strike a balance by acknowledging our trust in God; but then emphasizing, that we are also responsible for protecting our own interests. We were also inspired by George Washington; who, as commander of the Revolutionary Army, often told his subordinate officers: Trust but verify.
