“No Show” Romero is Missing Again BATON ROUGE State Senator and Third Congressional District candidate Craig Romero continued his habit of putting his own electoral future before the needs of the people of Louisiana. In the most recent example of his negligence, Romero skipped committee meetings and an important session of the full Senate today, to raise money in Washington, DC for his congressional campaign. Just two weeks after Katrina, Romero made a previous trip to Washington to shop around a pie chart in a cynical attempt to convince special interest groups that the loss of population in Katrina-torn parishes including St. Bernard would actually help him win the Third District seat.
