Where is the Best Country Bar in Houston, Texas?
A fun place to go to dance both country and a bit of non-country. Early drink specials and cover charges. Wednesday is the drink special night and probably the best night out there, but Saturdays are fun, too. The biggest con is that it is still a smoking inside establishment, and it does get smoky. With the smoke cloud, I find it better to make the drive into Houston on a weekend to do a little dancing. I enjoy the night better, dance more, smell better, and the guys smell so much better, and I feel better in the morning without that smoke. It’ll be a great place for the weekends when they make the inside smoke free or find a way to really s uck out all that smoke.Pros + Fun dancing both country and non-countryCons – Smoke filled
I had a blast at whiskey creek!! They played a great varity of music, and although it was completely packed, pretty much everyone was friendly. They door guys were not stuck up, there werent insane lines, the bar was insanely crowded so it did take awhile to get a drink, but thats with anywhere in midtown. I recommend trying it out. Pros + good music, fun crowdCons – crowded bar
This is a great place to hang out with friends or meet new ones. Great services, and the bartenders are wonderful. The staff is warm friendly, and you feel as if you are truely someone they remember, and they do.I can honestly say that the only thing I would change about this place is the off-duty officers they employ. They are actually some of the rudest officers I have ever met, not to mention how useless they are as far as protecting property.Pros + Great service, awsome staffCons – off-duty cops are rude and useless
Hey this is for all the people that like to go out and have fun. Rockin rodeo is the place to be. They have good drink specials and good music. I have been there and had alot of fun. I don’t go out much but when I do I don’t like traveling far. It is alot of fun and doesn’t run you broke tring to have a good time. The bartenders are nice and work hard. So for all the reviews that have something bad to say you must have done something wrong to get treated that way because I have been going there a long time and have never had a problem. And as far as anyones personal life let it be personal and worry about your own. Every club has drama but as for a place to hang out it is great!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved it… I will go back…
Seeing as how I was never a “regular” at this place, I am happy I found it. After eating at REEF one night, me and my girl decided to venture over. How cool is this place? It’s the perfect after dinner hang-out and the drinks are great. Still un-pretentious in the Mid-Town district, thank goodness they still exit, it was refreshing. I see these reviews about the old bartenders and how great they were and the insults ppl seem to hurl since they have been gone. Granted I didn’t know them but the new one on Saturday night was great. Very accommodating but not over-bearing and all in your conversation unless invited. Obviously she knows how to read a guest. Tall, dark-haired girl with pretty eyes. I highly reccommend this place for it’s nostalgic feel, personable staff, drink prices, and the owner seems to take care of his ppl. He is a nice guy who introduced himself as Greg(g)? In today’s day you don’t find many owners so involved in their businesses. Great to see they still exist. Oh, a
