Why does City Search rate this place so high when all of the reviews are negative? I think the editors should research their own sites BEFORE the ratings are set!

The location was convenient to MARTA and a variety of places to eat. The room was clean and well maintained. It is a healthy walk up and down hill to the Georgia World Conference Center, about fifteen to twenty minutes at a brisk pace. The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. The only issues I had were that the room was quite expensive for a seven-night stay, but when you are working through the conference housing folks you often are not given better options. My major complaint is that it is very annoying to have to pay nearly ten dollars a day to have access to a wireless internet hook-up when the costs to the hotel are virtually nothing. This hotel made me feel welcome: The night clerk was very friendly when I arrived, something that was most nice after a long day of travel. The bellmen were uniformly cordial. The concierge was helpful and cordial.

I went to Wihskey Park for the first time last night. I had called earlier that afternoon to reserve a table but never got a call back from a manager. When I arrived and asked if there was a table I was told that all tables had been sold out. I also asked for an escort into the VIP room and a waitress said she would get a manager but no manager ever came. My waitress WAS efficient (I eventually sat at a table just outside VIP.) However, I got the same old excuse of “it’s a private party” when I attempted to enter VIP.Some of us enjoy top-shelf service and have come to expect it when we go out. Clearly, Whiskey Park has some service issues to address and I am willing to give them a second chance since they just recently opened. But my first impression was overall a dissapointment and in the future I will expect better or I won’t be going back.

When you walk in I felt like I was in the movie “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.” That is what I loved about it. I didn’t touch their food, and probably never would, but I did love the drinks. And the menus for the drinks were hilarious. I loved the decor. It is obviously over-done. The Tiki decor is awful, but that is what is so awesome about it. The cups they serve your rum in are hilarious, and at the same time awesome. I hear the bartender was voted best in Atlanta. I don’t know if that is true or not, but I loved their drinks. Strong, and tasty is what I would say to anyone who wanted to try the drinks. The restaurant is relaxing, and someone please tell me where you can find a strong rum drink served in a skull in which they set on fire prior to serving you? Please go here for the drinks. I don’t know about the food because I did not try it, but I really loved this bar. They weren’t trying to incorporate all the night life garbage that can be associated with bars, and/or clubs, w

Just as the Marriott Marquise completes it’s 138M makeover, Pulse the new lobby bar has set sail. The hotel has the world’s largest atrium, 50 stories, and the new Pulse Cocktail Bar has a 50ft.sail, that changes colors throughout the day. Pulse changes color three times a day, to suit different moods. Our fave is when it turns red, at 6:00pm. signaling the beginning of the cocktail hour, and on to dinner in one of the new signature restaurants. Pulse brings a new beginning for a return to Downtown, no longer do we have to go to Midtown or Buckhead, for a ultra cool place for a drink, to start the evening. A new poolside bar is on the way. Stunning design and great drinks, and service.Pros + Stunning 50ft.Sail Design, Great Drinks and Service!Cons – Parking Can Be Tight! But if You Work In The Area, Great!
