Where is the Best Lunch Spot in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania?
The chips… were de-lish. Crispy on the outside, and melty soft on the inside. The fish was excellent too… closest thing to the local London Chippy! The side/dip sauce… could have a tad more fiest to it!But all in all… the Fish ‘n chips… were excellent!Downside… there was only one bottle of vinegar in the 2 floors of service area, and my chips had cooled off by the time the our waiting mate could locate it. Make sure you have them get the malt vinegar and worcestershire sauce upfront… before the food arrives… if you like your chips that way.Beers were great… Frambois on tap… yum!Cheers!Pros + Really good … Chips!
went there twice only to find a long list of items that were no longer in stock. how can a restaurant be out of steaks, tuna, salmon, bananas, calamari, hamburgers, etc… all in one night? very disappointing even though service was good. also, hostess lies to your face about what’s in stock and what’s not, according to her “yeah, we have everything.”Pros + location, hoursCons – ALWAYS OUT OF CALAMARI and various other foodstuffs
Wow, this place is unreal. You can go back again and again and have different food everytime. There are many stalls with different specialties: cheesesteak, hoagies are there, pasta, pizza, vegetarian, the hamish roast shop, cookies, cakes….you name it, they have it! I had an awesome roast pork sandwich, with the freshest bread, povolone chees and green peppers…it was to…
