So far i have been to black rose twice. the service is excellent. The staff there know how to help you and are willing to listen to what it is yoiu want. I have gone in there both times with a specific idea in my head and walked out with an amazing peice of art work. the firt time i went in there Erik, my artist was leaving for travel but stayed just so he could fit me in before he left. I didnt expect that expecially since i didnt have an apt or anything. this last time he got my best friend and i in on her birthdayday. he was great listened to what we wanted, talked to us and not only did he do a great job both of us + prep time+ drawling+ a 15 minute break between us only took about 2 hours. the other artist sit back and talk to you too and make you feel welcomed…overall its a great place..i’ll never go anywhere else. not to mention Erik is a hottie!Pros + nice shop, nice people—– worth the parking problemCons – its in PB so parking can be a b@#$

Eric is an amazing artist, he makes you comfortable and as if you have been friends with him forever. He’s done 2 of my tattoos and they both are epic, I highly recommend him and he’s a great guy. Go get a tattoo from him! He can do all styles and he does piercings as well, all of my piercings that he has done are perfect and he really knows what he is doing.Pros + Comfortable around the employes, lots of laughter, great musicCons – Enviorment

I LIVE IN ORANGE COUNTY AND IN THE BUSINESS OF TATTOING ITS VERY POPULAR AND THERES ALOT OF COMPETITION BUT WHEN IT COMES TO A PERMANENT MARK IN MY BODY IM REALLY PICKY AS TO WHO I WANT IT DONE BY I KNOW THE SHOP ITS ALL THE WAY DOWN IN SAN DIEGO TO GET TATTOED BY JOHNNY BUT I THINK THE DRIVE WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT AS TO THE RESULTS OF MY TATTOO IM REALLY HAPPY HOW IT TURN OUT AS WELL AS MY FRIEND WHO WANTED A DECENT TATTOO ASWELL AS SHE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH ANOTHER TATTOO SHOP WE BOTH LEFT WITH A SMILE ABOUT THIS SHOP. MY FRIEND WAS NERVOUS AS TO WHAT T EXPECT , AS TO TRUSTING SOMEONE ELSE ON DOING A GOOD JOB ON YOUR TATTOO THAT WILL GO ON YOUR BODY FOR LIFE. SHE LEFT WITH A GOOD IMPRESSION ABOUT JOHNNY AND THE SHOP. I CAN TOTALLY RECOMMENT THIS SHOP WHY? BC THE SHOP WAS EXTREMELLY CLEAN AND I LIKE THAT IT TELLS ALOT ABOUT THE STAFF THAT WORKS THERE THE HOSPITALITY WAS AWESOME THE GUYS MADE US FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE I WOULD TOTALLY DRIVE OUT THERE AGAIN I LEFT WITH A GOOD IMPRESSION

first impression was a very rude receptionist, who actually ended up being my stylist too. At the appointment she seemed to be a very no-frills or a get to the point type (i’m used to paying $100 for a haircut and getting an overly-attentive stylist/receptionist) very casual, no-frills, funky atmosphere. Come as you are. the cut was good for $45, she seemed to know how hairtypes react to different cuts, and recommended the right alterations for my hairtype, also checked in with me about the length as she cut it. I believe the website says $35 for a cut however. I think they charged me extra for styling and blowdry(?!) unless they jacked up their prices & never updated the site. I don’t think the styling was worth $10.Cash only btw, they don’t take cards.Pretty much the same quality of cut at a high priced salon, minus the free wine, muszak, and scalp massage.Pros + casual, quick, cares about getting the cut rightCons – no frills, sort of snippy attitude
