Where should I stay during the Fall New International Student Orientation Program?
Orientation housing for students and spouses is in the East Halls Area residence halls. An orientation housing fee of $18.00 per night per person will be collected upon your arrival for the entire orientation; please be prepared to pay for your entire stay on the first day in which you move into the orientation housing. Students will share a room with another new international student. Sheets will be provided, but students should provide their own pillows and blankets (bus trips to local shopping centers will be organized as part of the orientation program). Air-conditioning is not provided in the dorm rooms. Students with children should contact UOGP to see if special Orientation housing arrangements can be made. Parents of students attending the Orientation program should make arrangements to stay at a local hotel. Hotels: There are a number of hotels in the State College area where you can make reservations. Local Maps: Many of the sessions are scheduled in the center of campus-abou
