Where should the interpreter sit?
The interpreter needs to be placed near the speaker, so the Deaf client has a clear line of sight to both. If a second interpreter is present, they will need to to sit near the front , facing the ‘on’ interpreter . The Deaf person should have a reserved place in the front, with a clear line of sight to the interpreter.
