Where were the trade unions when the private sector pensions were getting hammered and even raided?

You know what,,, I can’t remember, now is that because I’ve got a bad memory or is it because they did sweat bugger-all apart from paying a bit of lip service, they’re good at that, Unions,,, so I’m inclined to think its the latter. All I’ve got to look forward to in my retirement (when ever that may be, 70 probably) is my state pension, the jobs that used to employ and pay me decent wages have all gone,,, gone, and now in my fifties I’m stuck working for the min wage or just above. So your excuse me if I have no sympathy for these Public Sector Workers, who seem to think that the stark and often mean realities of working life in the Private Sector doesn’t effect them, because I can assure you and anybody else,,, it does.

What is your question?
