Where will the new runway approach navigation lights be located for the alternative that is selected by the FAA for the Capacity Enhancement Program?
Current FAA safety standards require that the planned and type of runway approach navigation lights to be installed be located at 200 foot intervals starting at the runway threshold up to 2,400 feet along the centerlines of the runways. A runway threshold is defined as the beginning of the runway that can be used for landing.
