Which 80s dance movie or dance film clip do you think is iconic in dance wear?
Depends on what style you’re into. Some people really like Xanadu. I really liked Breakin’. The movie itself was horrible, but the footage is really good. I actually knew a few people who performed for it. Also, if you check it out, take a moment to giggle at a young Jean-Claude Van Damme in his black tights on the beach at Venice. Breakin’ 2, incredibly, was even worse but had the distinction of replicating a Gene Kelly move where Boogaloo Shrimp literally dances around a room. Again, the footage is the reason to watch. And as to your question about Wear, in these movies, the dancers wore what they wore as themselves.
