Beyerdynamic DT100’s are recognised as the industry standard (big ones you see on TV for radio/TV and music production) and around your price range. They are very flat and accurate response. However don’t expect “big fat bass” – the majority of headphones have a massive hump in the bottom “to improve listening pleasure”, so comparatively they may feel lacking in bass at first. However this should reduce fatigue and allow for longer and more accurate sessions. Check ’em out – hope that helps!
