Which fuel wil cause the least pollution when it burns science home work answer today?
The least polluting fuels are hydrogen, followed by methane. Hydrogen can only form water when it burns, so causes the least pollution (i.e. nil). Natural gas (methane) will burn in an excess of oxygen to give carbon dioxide ( a greenhouse gas) but in practice combustion is never 100% efficient, so carbon monoxide and traces of carbon will also be formed. Of course, this doesn’t take into account the pollution caused in the manufacture/recovery and distribution of the fuel.
