Which is the situation of those movements that didn’t pact with Evo Morales?
Well, I belong to a movement that its absolutely untied of any agreement with the government. One of the aims of the Water Coordinator is that we keep an absolute autonomy from the economical and party interests. We have defended since year 2000 all this spaces that have begun from the bases, giving them a new organizational way, so that they can stay out from any party which pretends (in a despotic and traditional way) to lead them. All the social movements that haven’t been subordinated to Evo Morales, or to the MAS, have been relegated to the shadows. Unfortunately, they have reach their purposes by stigmatizing and making this spaces invisibles to the political scene, exactly as the members of the right wing did, telling us that we were drug trafficking or seditious….now they tell us that we are allied to the right wing or that we are radicals.
