Which laser printers should be used to utilize MST electronic forms option?

A. This would depend on whether or not the printer will accept a file to be stored in ram. Most printers will permit the exchange of data for our forms, but if you want to store the files permanently , you should get a printer that has flash DIMM options. Most Lexmark printers have that option, but you should be sure to either check the specs or contact our support staff to inquire. Flash DIMM memory is different then standard memory in printers. Flash will allow you to write to it and save files and fonts like barcodes, OCR or MICR. If your printers are shared over a network, you will be able to ftp our forms files from any PC on your LAN, even in remote locations. We developed a transfer tool that will streamline this process for you. Should you have further questions, please contact me via e-mail, tonystout@mstinet.
