The following programs and services administered by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) will not be affected by this policy on or after July 1, 2009: • Services authorized by the California Children’s Services (CCS) program • Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP) program services • Mental Health services when receiving the benefits through a County Mental Health Plan • Services authorized by Genetically Handicapped Persons Program (GHPP) • Home health services when provided by a Home Health Agency (HHA) The following Medi-Cal beneficiaries will not be affected by this policy on or after July 1, 2009: • Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) eligible beneficiaries • Beneficiaries residing in a skilled nursing facility or intermediate care facility (e.g., Nursing Facilities Level A (NF-A) and Level B (NF-B) as defined in subdivisions (c) and (d) of Section 1250 of the Health and Safety Code and licensed pursuant to subdivision (k) of Section 1250
