Who are Samsungs electronics recycling partners, and how does Samsung ensure that its recycling partners lawfully process and dispose of consumer electronics?
Samsung has directly partnered with four leading e-waste recyclers in the United States: Chicago-based SIMS Group Limited, which has operations on the Northeast region, the West Coast, the Midwest, and the South. Wisconsin-based CRT Processing LLC, which has operations across the Northeast region, the Midwest, and the Pacific Northwest regions. New York-based Eco International LLC, which has operations across the mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and West. Minnesota-based JFRC, LLC, which operates in the northern Midwest. Samsung conducted extensive research into the qualifications, capabilities, and integrity of our recycling partners. Since then, Samsung has audited, and will continue to conduct periodic audits, of these recyclers and their operations to ensure their performance remains in keeping with Samsung’s stringent policies and contractual terms. The contractual terms to which every recycling partner must abide include, among others, that they will not, under any circumstance, incinerate
