Who can benefit from XBRL GL? Is it just for big corporations?
XBRL GL was initially developed with small businesses in mind and heart; moving data from external payroll services and Web merchant sites to accounting systems, and from the small business clients accounting system to their accountant, with tax preparation in mind. However, it has emerged as something useful for businesses of all sizes, as well as not-for-profit entities, governments, and anyone else that keeps business books and records.
