Who can I call about swales / ditches that are not draining?
That depends. PUDs maintain ditches within their property. Many ditches are not designed to drain, but instead are meant to hold water in order to clarify the water and give it a chance to recharge the groundwater aquifers. If you see that the water is higher than usual and think there is an obstruction, please call Road Maintenance Dept. at 774-8924.
