IDECC’s Standards are based upon those developed in 1999 by the Association of Real Estate License Law Official’s Distance Education Council. It is important to note that IDECC standards are not unique to the real estate industry but to mandatory compliance education in general. With the assistance of industry stakeholders (providers, regulators, licensees etc), these standards have been strengthened in certain areas to better serve participating industries or professions.
