Who founded the FullRideProject?
Kent Brown and Andy Roller. Kent , owner of Southwest Honda – Amarillo, TX, heard about a car raffle offered by a Honda Dealership in Alaska for one local high school, but Kent wanted to give a car to a student who really needed it. So, Kent took the idea to Andy, Principal of Expio Leadership, who was working on a management consulting project for Southwest Honda at the time. Andy developed and proposed a project that would award a deserving Amarillo Area student the car, a full scholarship (and more) and came up with the name “Full Ride Project” to describe the multiple meanings. Kent loved the new idea and decided to take the risk. He contracted with Andy to put together the teams, develop the plans, and get things started. Since then, Kent and Andy have developed some special partnerships and teams that are making FullRideProject a reality.
