The State, Districts, and Schools must make AYP. All students and subgroups of 45 or more students are calculated for AYP. The subgroups required by NCLB are: Racial/Ethnic: Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, Native American, Asian/Pacific Islander, and multi_ethnic; Economically Disadvantaged: Students on free or reduced lunch; Students with Disabilities: Students with IEPs and 504 Plans; and Limited English Proficient students.
