Who here believes Ronald Reagan is vastly overrated?
He was just a grad B movie actor who understood nothing. His fondness for waging war on the lower and middle classes ( Remember David Stockton’s Trickle Down Trojan Horse for the rich.) , and deregulation brought greater poverty, the Savings and loan scandal, his incompetence got over 240 Marines killed in Lebanon – and don’t forget Iran Contra and all the conservative hawks who got criminal convictions he had to pardon. Reagan understood nothing. I never understood what people saw in him. Its so easy to get sold on an image and never look more deeply beneath the flash and the surface appearances. Anyone can fall prey to that.
