Who is a Chiropractic Physician?
Chiropractors, also known as Doctors of Chiropractic or Chiropractic Physicians, diagnose and treat patients whose health problems are associated with the body’s muscular, nervous, and skeletal systems. Besides treating patients for back and neck pain, many chiropractors believe improving the body’s motion will relieve irritation of the nervous system. Since the body is controlled by the nerves, a well adjusted body functions better and is healthier. Many are trained in ancillary areas such as exercise, rehabilitation or nutrition.
