Who is Carl Bernstein? Who is Bob Woodward?
Carl Bernstein, and Bob Woodward were reporters for the Washington Post during the 1970s. It was through their investigative efforts that the Watergate conspiracy was uncovered. They dug up the information that eventually caused many of President Nixon’s aids to resign, and eventually go to jail for their part in this illegal break in. They also uncovered information that Proved that Nixon was aware of the break in from shortly after it happened, and willfully lied in an attempt ot cover it up. Noxon was forced to resign as President, and his successor as President Gerald Ford later pardoned him to keep him from being charged by the police, and quite possibly going to jail.
