Who is doing Research on Vedic Mathematics?
On this novel Indian system of Mathematics pioneering work is being done by us. The research includes applications of ‘Vedic Mathematics’ to trignometry, three dimensional coordinate geometry, solution of plain and spherical triangles, linear and non-linear differential equations, metrics and determinants, and log and exponentials. The most interesting point to note is that the Vedic Mathematics provides unique solution in several instances where only trial and error method is available at present. For example the Kapler’s equation can be solved in just 90 seconds as compared to the present tedious trail and error method. Shakuntala Devi: She is supposedly one of the early learner of these wonderful methods. It is being taught in most prestigious institution of England, Us, Australia, Singapore, Germany and Holland. NASA scientist is using these in artificial Intelligence.
