If your home was damaged as a result of the storm, you may qualify for a FEMA grant to make it safe and livable. If you cannot stay there due to the damage or because you have lost power or water service, you may be able to get help paying for a hotel room. Check with your insurance company first to see what it will cover. FEMA will not pay for repairs or hotel bills that are covered by your insurance policy.
