Who is JACKOPIERCE?
In 1988 Jack O’Neill and Cary Pierce formed an acoustic duo to form the band “JACKOPIERCE”. They started out as an acoustic duo for many years and then eventually added Clay Pendergrass on bass guitar & Earl “The Pearl” Darling on drums in late 1994 – early 1995. JACKOPIERCE toured the world in 44 states, 10 countries, and on 3 continents. They recorded 6 records (2 for A&M). To the dismay of many fans, after ten years of touring, the band decided to call it quits in the fall of 1997. The final show was on New Years Eve 1997 in Houston, TX with Matchbox 20 and The Wallflowers.
