Who is Keith Olbermann, and why should I care?
” Keith Olbermann is primarily a Radio and Television Journalist, although he writes and writes well (see Bloggermann to the left). He is well educated (Cornell) very intelligent, and also very independent. He therefore is frequently at odds with his bosses at MSNBC, as you will read in the Forum. Keith had an epiphany at the end of the Clinton/Lewinsky Scandals, and wrote a famous speech, which he gave at the Cornell Graduation Exercises, and led to him losing his job at MSNBC “the first time”. He caught my eye as he bucked the tide of journalists who reported talking points without question, devoted valuable hours of network time to trivia, and literally were nothing more than Talking Heads.
